This is one question I’ve gotten asked A LOT.

“When is the best time for me to post on my Facebook fan page?”

Find the best time to post on Facebook.jpgI must admit a few years ago there was no surefire way to find out this info, but luckily times have changed.

Thanks to Facebook Insights the days of guessing when the best time to post on Facebook are o-v-e-r!

That means now you can know when your fans are hanging out online.

I’ve created a 4 step visual guide that will show you how to find out when the best time to post on Facebook for your page. Be sure to read till the end because I share a sweet bonus tip with you!

Step 4: Find out the Days and Times Your Fans are Online

You’ll notice if there are specific days your fans are online most and what time they’re hanging out there. If I take a look at this on my page, I can tell my fans are online Wednesday thru Sunday and most of them are there online from 9am-1pm with a slight dip at 3pm but then it holds steady until 9pm.

This tells me, if I want to post something important these are the times to do it.

Be sure to hover your mouse over the days and times to get more detailed page info as well.

Now For A Sneaky Bonus Tip: Getting Inside Your Fans’ Heads

For my sneaky bonus tip you’ll want to scroll down to the “All Posts Published” section to take a look at what posts are getting the most engagement.

When you click on “Engagement” you can see the posts that have gotten the most engagement within the last 90 days.

My engagement stat (diagram below) tells me is that my fans are super interested in my Virtual Mastermind program (this is what they clicked on the most). In case you’re wondering, my Virtual Mastermind program is where a small group gets to mastermind with me for an entire year on their business/career/life – super intense and major breakthroughs happen here! We’re all sold out for this year but you can get on next year’s waiting list. Click here to get on the Virtual Mastermind waiting list.

When you know what your fans are clicking on it tells you exactly what they are taking action on and what they aren’t.

If I look a little further I can see that my fans dig my live events and the loved the post about How To Have As Many Hours Of the Day As Beyoncé. I mean, who can blame them Beyoncé is fierce!

Here’s What To Do With All This Info

Now that you’re armed with this info, you’ll want to go into Hootsuite and schedule your most important posts to go out during those times. That means promoting events, launches etc.

So now instead of taking a shot in the dark, you now know when your fans are online and when you can reach them.
